The Bible
The whole Bible in both languages, verse by verse. Open any book you like, or type its name. Read the Lingala first, then check with the English: the best test of your level.
To go with your reading, start the background music (it’s optional).

Reliability first
No book in the world has been translated more, or read and checked by more people, than the Bible. It is the most verified reference there is: every verse has been weighed, compared and corrected by generations of translators. For reliable lingala, there is nothing better.
That is exactly why it belongs here. The lingala of these verses comes from recognised, published editions, translated by teams, including native speakers, from the original texts. Nothing is written by us or by a machine: every word has already passed that check.
Four independent editions, side by side, which you can even compare: a way to confirm a word is real lingala. And that is the whole point of this site, to teach you reliable lingala, with the same standard as the dictionary.
Twenty of the best-known verses, to discover who Jesus is, what the Gospel proclaims and what the Christian life is. Leaf through them, one by one.

Stuck on a word? Many words of the Bible are in the dictionary, under the Bible theme. And the audio is still a synthetic voice, until something better.
